East Prescot Road Nursery School is like no other. Founded in 1947, we provide the very best early years education.

We are a Liverpool Maintained Nursery School (MNS), rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted for over a quarter of a century.

Our Headteacher, qualified classroom teachers and Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) work together to deliver a school curriculum that promotes 'excellence and enjoyment' for every child.

Our highly inclusive curriculum ensures that every child develops the skills, knowledge, attitudes and learning behaviours to prepare them for primary school. We give our children the roots to grow, by building firm foundations for lifelong learning.

Children receive highly effective support from staff who have a strong understanding of the particular difficulties that some children face. Staff check how well children are learning to clearly identify their strengths and next steps. This information is used to carefully tailor learning to meet children’s needs. This ensures children with SEND can access the curriculum alongside their friends (Ofsted).
